So after several months of using Sunvox, I ended up making the leap to another DAW. I don't feel comfortable dropping tons of money into a paid DAW yet, but a friend mentioned LMMS a few days ago, and I decided to look into it.
I've been learning how to use it and playing around with various things in it over the last couple days, and the biggest observation I've made is that as much as I love Sunvox's hex based trackers and modular instruments, a piano roll and vst workflow is kinda needed for me to make music at this point. Maybe in the future I can play around with Sunvox again, but for now, it'll be limited to being an app on my phone I won't use much.
