I don't know the word for this

In eternity, where there is no time, nothing can grow. Nothing can become. Nothing changes. So death created time to grow the things that it would kill and you are reborn but into the same life that you've always been born into.
The closest I can think of is "underwhelmed", but it's not quite "upset" or even "disappointed". For context, I suspected that there was a good deal of apathy about the willingness to work from some employees, particularly apathy from the management, and I had to force their hand on something, they made a choice and now I'm like "Oh well, okay then." I mean why give 100% or even 80%, when everyone else quarter-asses their way through everything, right? As long as nobody gets grouchy, god forbid that happens.
