Drawing for Anxiety And Profit
I started drawing again on November 9th, sixteen days ago.
Almost every day I go through terrible anxiety. About human interaction, about the future, about life in general. I worry constantly.
Not without reason -- my car is falling apart and on the verge of dying, and a hard, cold winter is almost here. My job is okay, but at any moment there could be a catastrophe which I have no idea how to handle -- no one there trains me on anything. My blood pressure isn't bad (I had my yearly physical today), but my resting pulse is like 96, which, according to one study I read about means I'll probably be dead within 20 years. I still have no idea how to make friends. A dozen other things.
So I'm stressed out.
Drawing helps. It doesn't make the anxiety go away, but it gives me something else to focus on.
For almost 2 years I've played Ark: Survival Evolved, and that has helped. But during the idle time when I'm not actually doing anything with the game, I pull out my tablet and start sketching, and it's wonderful! It really gets me back in touch with my style.
I have plans. I want to do so much. Let's see how far I can get!

Keep it up! Really wish we could of had better situations where lived closer to one another. When first met and recently. Could of helped you with meeting folks and maybe some of the anxiety. *But*

Yeah, if we lived closer we'd hang out for sure. :) Be glad you're not up here in Iowa though, the winters are so rough!

Im glad to see you start picking up the pencil, figuratively, again. You were one of the first furry artists I discovered and I really enjoy your work.

Thank you! It always feels good to hear that someone found my art early on. :)
