Okay lesson learned. When using the colorize mask in Krita, ALWAYS, do your color assigned to transparency first or you will be spending a couple of hours screaming every obscenity known to man kind at your PC while trying and failing to get things to work right....and you have to give up and start the colorize mask procedure all over again. Transpancy first....then colors.
