What happened to VCL?

VCL seems to be down since a while again.
Does someone have more information about it? Is this site finally dead?
Okay, the last time, i've looked for artwork or uploaded some pictures was a long time ago. But VCL is part of furry-history and my first place to go for furry artwork (Aside from yerf, i didn't like the people there) . Unfortunately, the admins missed the chance to improve the site and add some kind of community feature. Would be sad to lose artwork from people who are inactive now

Yes, it was one of the most famous furry gallery many years ago.

I don't know Kothrix or MrEnter, but people upload a lot of crap in the internet
Fear not, though! I know that multiple people have anticipated it would one day be lost, and made site dumps.
I don't think it's been alive in any real sense for a very long time now.
