Since I have literally nothing to do over Christmas break and college doesn’t start back until January 12th or 13th, I have been thinking about buying a couple of pay to use bases and possibly attempting to sell them as like a YCH or something as a very small form of income (if I’m allowed to resell them that way). I’m not in any sort of financial trouble, but I just want something to do, and I figured that something like this wouldn’t be a bad idea! I also have yet to learn how to draw digitally with any sort of skill, so this would be a good start I suppose while I try to work on that! However, I will likely only take a set number at a time as to not get overwhelmed, but I guess I’ll figure out when it’s too much when I get to that point. Also, I may take preference over simple characters versus more complex ones since my editing is not super high quality, but that could always change. If anyone has any feedback or advice to give on how to do stuff like this since this would be my first time trying to sell art, then please let me know in the comments!

Update 12/24: Managed to find what looks to be a pretty good P2U base, so once I figure out how to edit it properly, then I may open some like $3-5 commissions with them or do some adopts!

Update 12/27: Finished 4 examples (my sona, two of my friends’ sonas, and one that I made that shows off the ability to mix and match some bits) using the base and will likely be starting them out at $5. I decided that I don’t want to do adopts, so it will be purely commissions with this base. I will make a submission when it’s not like 4 AM with more details!
