Hey guys! Its been a loooong time. How are you all? So a couple weeks ago, I went to my first furry convention, Midwest Furfest. I has so much fun hanging out with my girlfriend and cosplaying as my favorite pun telling skeleton. My sans costume got a surprising amount of attention and it was amazing.

Over the last couple of months I had contemplated buying a used partial fursuit, just to have fun with it. But over the last couple weeks I feel like I want to attempt making one myself. Atleast just the head anyway. I love kimono style heads. The animeish style fits my art style pretty well. I ordered a head base to get started. I've studied a bunch of tutorials online and on Youtube.

Now my first question is, where do you buy the fur? I'm looking for something affordable, but still quality for my first suit. I used to sew a whole lot in high school, I've worked with fur a little bit in a couple cosplays. Enough to know joanne fabrics fur is kinda poopy. Any suggestions?
