It's crazy when I think of the age I was when the concept of my character first popped into my brain, then look at where I am now, and think "Wow those are like two totally different people" and yet he's always been there.

What is time? Why only a concept made up by humanity in a vain attempt to bring order to our existence my good sir!

But yea. Character change isnt a bad thingj! Sometimes its really cool to look at a character when they were first conceived, and then see all of the changes that happened to them as your interests changed and how you as a person matured as did your outlook on certain topics.

But I mean like, me though. I was in my early teens when the first stirrings of Arix came about, now I'm 30 and essentially a completely different person but he is still there. Different, but also much the same.

Thats the cool thing about a 'Sona vs a character. Characters have separate lives and backstories and such. They come and go for one reason or another and often only encompass facets of our personalities.

'Sona's on the other hand embody who we are through our personality, or how we'd like to be in general. They're us, but in a fantasy setting, so they tend to grow and change as we do. Alongside us if you will. Yea, they may have their own backstories and origins, but because they embody our personalities or our projected personalities they still make decisions and nationalities exactly as we would were we in that same situation.
