So What's the Deal with this Gecko Girl?
Alright, so, as most of you may have noticed, I've recently acquired a new character, a Gecko girl by the name of Aayin, of which I've been posting a lot of art of. Most of you watched me for the art that I got of Skal, and with the frequency that I've been posting art of Aayin, some of you may be wondering if Aayin is my new 'sona and if she will be replacing Skal.
I can assure you that that is certainly not the case.
Skal will always be the character that I consider to be my 'sona. That's not going to change. However, I will likely end up acquiring more characters during my tenure on this site. Aayin was my third. The second, a naga by the name of Salem, is currently being created by Sazandora. He was the first character in over a decade that I'd genuinely been interested enough in to have brought to life. Ironically, Aayin came into the roster before he did, because she was a spur-of-the-moment purchase from Pixel_Cancer that I'm glad that I didnt pass up. I plan on commissioning more art of the two of them (Salem when his design is finally done) to catch them up to where Skal's at. I've got over 150ish commissions of the green and orange boy, and I think its finally time to give him a rest and let some others have the spotlight for a while.
TL:DR: I'm not replacing Skal, but the amount of art that I get featuring him will likely be toned down for quite a while while I give my two characters Salem and Aayin the spotlight to catch them up. Hopefully you'll come to appreciate them just as much as I do. ^.=.^ ^,=,^ ^. . ^
