Making a Mature/NSFW Art Account?

achromaticagentI've spent a long time here on FA, and I'm no stranger to NSFW/Mature/Adult/Explicit artwork!
I've always primarily been a SFW artist - mainly because I've always been pretty easily flustered or embarrassed in creating NSFW content myself. I certainly have no issues with it. It's just generally not something that's any more or less interesting to me than general sfw art.
I mainly don't draw NSFW content out of a mix of my own embarrassment, and as an aromantic + asexual person, there's perhaps some deeper emotional appeal I may inherently just not understand?
But I really enjoy drawing shippy art, BL Artwork, and snuggly, intimate character interactions. Just because I, as an aromantic person, have no romantic interest in others doesn't mean I don't find such content heartwarming and sweet. And it's just lots of fun to draw. And the older I get, the more I've come to understand and appreciate NSFW illustrations, even if hasn't always been a major fixation to me as a person.
So, I've been kind of pondering on the idea of maybe attempting to dabble more into Mature/NSFW art?
I love drawing bodies, and practicing anatomy especially of the torso. So it would also let me not have to throw clothes onto everything and everyone! XD
Admittedly, I am an incredibly sheltered little bean so what I might interpret as NSFW is probably actually very tame, LOL. So I'm thinking I might try to dabble into Mature-NSFW art. Such as, imagery that fits more on the "Mature" Tag, and maybe not outright "Explicit".

So I was thinking, maybe making a second FA account to post Mature/NSFW art and YCHs to? I prefer to make it an alt since I'm primarily a SFW artist on my main.

you do end up getting creepy commenters and some uncomfortable responses but if youre doing it for your own reasons then its really whatever

Thank u random person for appreciating the fact I drew feet and toes and I am glad u like them, but also the comment was a little weird about it? since that wasn't really the fixation of the illustration? :'DD
No harm done of course. But it's a bit jarring at times when its unexpected!
So, that's mainly why Id want to make an alt, so then when I log into that account it wont be as unwarranted a comment or something. xD
AGREED!! I posted figure drawings on my patreon that dont even have genitals drawn in. Just a GESTURE drawing of a humanoid form and it switched my content to 18+ ??? So I'm like "uHHH?? BUT ITS NOT?? BUT OKAY I GUESS LMAO!"
And, agreed again. I think NSFW artwork with fictional characters can be a really god way to explore the topics, especially for us ace individuals who don't really want much to do with it IRL. There's a sort of reassuring saftey of getting to explore the subject matter via fictional illustration and characters. Like playing a video game, you get to experience things you wouldn't regularly be able to, or want to happen to yourself!

Im pretty open to the topic of NSFW content. Im not sure what my hangup on it has been for so many years.
Probably didn't help growing up in the bible belt with the Abstinence-ONLY sex ed when you're shamed for even thinking of bodily autonomy.

I have a separate account for 3D Modeling work as well since otherwise MMD work wouldve overshadowed the illustration and then people would just constantly beg for the Download of models rather than give a heck about my art. So. multiple accounts to separate different genres of art is pretty good.
Like you, I've seen a lot of art from tame to explicit. Out of it all, I enjoy tasteful NSFW the most. You do what you enjoy X3c

Personally though I have a similar view on most porn. Doesn't really do anything for me :D And art of two randoms with massively over-sized junk flailing about, dribbling everywhere, is really not my thing :D I prefer SFW and tasteful nudity :D
Loving / caring / gentle NSFW stuff is alright (ya know, where it's more about the connection than just sex) and the more rough / violent type of sex stuff only appeals occasionally (usually meaning werewolves are involved, because they're what got me into Furry and, unfortunately, they're often portrayed as angry I'm the alpha, you're the beta/omega so you're gonna take it whether you like it or not types) >.>
As I said though, do what YOU want to do :) We're just here to look at the amazing art :D

I like edgy violence, mainly because I like the drama. I'm not really into rapey scenarios. But heck I love violence in imagery. Not necessarily in a sexual context, but just conflict depicted between two characters overall is neato. JUST GIVE ME THAT FICTIONAL INTERPERSONAL DRAMA. TENSION!!
Yeah tasteful nudity is honestly such a great aesthetic??? That's where most of the appeal lies for me, personally. NSFW doesnt bother me. But I find images that are more aristic or implicative about it more appealing? The focus lies on the interaction between characters rather than "oh hey there's a big ol dick front and center".
Maybe its cause Im ace, but I dont care to see genitals. Im not offended by them, but they dont have to be included in the image for me to find it a pleasant illustration.
