2019 was... a difficult year for me...

But yeah. I suffered... a lot this year... Many things upset me and I'm pretty down right now... I just hope 2020 will be a much better year for me. During 2019, I had problems to contain my jealousy on a few things and I did bad things as well, giving bad impressions too... In order to deal with it, I had to stop looking at many things even if I used to enjoy thoses before. Currently, there is a popular artist I can't afford to watch at the moment as whenever I see about it that could trigger my jealousy... I just feel miserable when it happens...
Well, before that happen, news from Pokémon Sword and Shield didn't really help at all neither... Right at the moment I was taking a break from macro stuffs in general... This happenned and they revealed the Dynamax feature... and I was really... really confused about what to do at that moment... It was a very bad timing for me and because of that... I lost my sanity and I was becoming insane... Things didn't get better as news kept going... While I was able to make peace with the Dynamax content and able to embrace it... They then revealed Gigantamax Pokémon. I was fine with it, I do like them... except one...
There is one thing that I really... really hate right now... *Sigh.* I hate Gigantamax Charizard... but I really hate it... I can't even bear to see a single one of them... Whatever it is a pic (unless he's dominated) or an ally GMax Charizard during Max Raids... I just refuse to look at it! I already had problems with Charizard before... they gave him 2 Mega Evolution instead of 1... While I managed to calm down about it for now, even though I still dislike Mega Charizard X... That Gigantamax Charizard just take the cakes... They gave nothing to Venusaur and Blastoise... and since I'm a Bulbasaur fan, things are much harder for me to accept... That's just... not fair for them... Simply not fair... I just hope balance will be restored between every Starters from every generation. Each starter having 2 different Mega Evolution and 1 Gigantamax form. Sadly... Charizard gets all that luxury...
Finally, the Galar Pokédex... I was... heartbroken... litterally... heartbroken... We knew the Charmander was in the Galar Pokédex before that, so, we could thing the Bulbasaur and Squirtle lines would be in as well. Yet, I thought they would never make it... and I was right... Bulbasaur and Squirtles lines are absent from the Galar Pokédex! They're still available in the game but only in transfer... What can I say about that? I know it's all about popularity and all that, I'm even fine with Gigantamax Pikachu and Eevee. But Gigantamax Charizard... Ugh... I'm still disgusted by it... I was conflicted at that moment... Should I play the games or not?
I got the games, but I was reluctant to play thoses. I gave a first try but I stopped, unsure if I should continue... But thanksfully, a good friend of mine helped me and encouraged me to play the games. I then kept going and I was able to have some fun, I even beat game at some points. But I had a main problem in this game... Charizard... Charizard... he ruined my fun in the games... he was... everywhere... but... EVERYWHERE!!! Lots of people using Gigantamax Charizard during Max Raids, I was even on a team where the 3 others used Charizard... Gigantamax Charizard class for the Curry... Leon's main partner is Charizard... And the worst part of it... you can even do that Charizard pose which is necessary to evolve a certain Pokémon. I mean, it's cool for the Charizard fans but for me... that was just too much! Just... WAY too much! Meanwhile, poor Venusaur and Blastoise... X_X
I don't want to hate Charizard... I really don't... I'm still okay with his regular form and Mega Charizard Y. But Gigantamax Charizard... Ugh... Unless they give a Gigantamax form for Venusaur and Blastoise later on, I would finally calm down but right now... I can't like GMax Charizard... I just can't... =X Maybe later in the future is balance is restored between the starters. *Sigh.* Sorry if I'm being harsh on that subject, especially if some of you are loving it, that I'm okay with it. Just be cautious when you mention it, that's all.
If I made my own Gigantamax Bulbasaur form, that's because I was desperated. I did it for the sake of my sanity, I even asked a pic about it and it turned out well. When Bulbasaur or Venusaur will get a Gigantamax form, when that day will come, I would instantly make a form of mine! I would also be able to treat Gigantamax Charizard normally, no hatred or anything like that. That's my only hope right now. I won't hide the fact that I was... quite disappointed about Sword and Shield... I even have some resentment toward the devs who removed half of them! That's a lot! Only 400 of them in the Galar Pokédex plus around 35 that will come later on. That's just heartbreaking because people can't bring their most favourite Pokémon in Sword and Shield. While I could with Bulbasaur... others people can't bring their Dragonite, Feraligatr, Piplup... You name it... As for today, we have now 890 of them, that's quite a big number, I like it. But I believe they should really slow down now... 890 Pokémon is quite enough to work with. They can create plenty of different forms like the Alolan and Galarian one, I do like that concept and I hope to see more.
Anyway... that's enough for rantings and I need to take care of myself right now. I hope in 2020, I'll get a new job soon, my previous one had to end as the company was moving away and it was too far for me to reach unfortunately. Right now, I'm stuck at home for an entire year, dealing with jealousy, news that can upset me... Blah blah blah... With a job, I'll be able to think about something else.
I also have a certain goal that I'd like to reach. Right now, I want to fight a lot more for Bulbasaur. I want to get as many macro Bulbasaur stuffs as possible. My goal is to increase the number of "macro Bulbasaur" results in the search bar. While I'd love to focus on my other forms sometimes, I just want to take care of my Bulbasaur form as much as possible, that's why I've been getting as many pics as possible. I want to do it for myself and for fun. But since I'm mainly the only or rare macro Bulbasaur around here, it's gonna be... quite difficult... ^^; When I'll be quite satisfied about it, I'd like to take care of Mudkip next~ X3
In any case... it's not midnight in my country yet but... I wish you all an Happy New Years in advance with lots of hope for everyone. I certainly want to be happy in 2020. I've been thinking about making new sprites lately, I tried to do some but got interrupted by Pokémon Sword and Shield. Plus, I was pretty depressed lately and my morale was pretty low as well. I just hope to recover quickly so I can finally focus back on drawing eventually and hopefully.
