So we have reached the end of another year. Hopefully the next year and decade is better for everyone than the year and decade we are leaving behind. I wish everyone a happy new year!

2019 was actually a pretty good year for me overall. It was a year of rest and recovery from previous years. The major damage to my house was finally completely fixed and living arrangements went back to how they were before. Health issues popped up and were dealt with quickly and are under control or improving. I have gotten new art stuff, I've just been kinda lazy in uploading it but more will be up soon.

The decade started off much the same way: multiple eye surgeries, a big hurricane, economic crash and Great Recession making it impossible to find employment on top of not doing so well in college at that time led to me falling into a long depression that stated off the decade. Things steadily got better for a few years until the utterly terrible year that was 2013, which was the nadir of the decade for me. From there I went back to college, got a job, got an associates degree, quit a job, got a better job, the living situation changed, and here we are. I've generally toned down making journals since no one reads these things anyway.

I don't usually make resolutions for new year, since I tend to make longer term plans that are independent of the yearly timeframe, like finishing off a Bachelors degree (something I will likely do in the coming decade).
