I played a bit of Battle Breakers (the new f2p mobile game from the fortnite team. wouldn't actually recommend it lol) and it has collectible heroes that you can level up. Evolving them changes their design with a little animation that's kinda magical girl esque, but 99% of the time they just get a slightly more elaborate outfit which is kinda disappointing. I was itching for TF every single time I pressed evolve, haha. Gacha mobile games have a lot of TF potential honestly, almost makes me want to cook up a basic game myself.

The whole randomization mechanic does have a ton of untapped TF potential, and I’d love to be the one to tap it if I knew anything about mobile games!
