Qassem Sulaimani was an evil, terrible man, I'm not going to cry over him. Not that killing him will help much, Iran's theocracy will just install the next evil, terrible man in his place. But your president had no business pulling the proverbial trigger on him, especially without approval from your congress, nevermind the UN. You do not execute foreign nationals for doing things that aren't even crimes within their own nations! But I'm afraid that the only thing that will remove Trump from power will be your next election.
BTW, doesn't it say somewhere in your constitution that the president cannot commit a crime? Does that mean that he's not culpable for anything he does while in office, or that, should he commit a crime while in office, he's automatically removed?

Im kinda out of the loop on this one, and it's not by choice, as a typhoon hit my hometown on Christmas Day, and cut off all the power.

With all that is happening worldwide, it's gonna be a yikes for my country with the Mutual Defense Treaty and all. That treaty is a double edged sword. If we get invaded, America will help defend. If America wages war, my countrymen will be mobilized too. With Trump trying to wage war in Iran, it's going to be a problem.

Whats reaching an impasse for now regarding this is our pottymouth president, who is petty against America and is trying to gain more diplomatic ties with Russia and China. And it's going to be a problem if my president breaks off from that treaty even further if my country gets invaded.

It feels as if we are at a crossroads, and it's not good.

I'll preface by stating I'm a classic liberal. That said, careful. Trump responded to an attack against US soil (the consulate) in Baghdad and the killing of an American contractor. It's well known that Iran's Quds forces use proxies to carry out illegal activities on the part of Iran. Trump's response is debatable. But what if I told you that Obama carried out an extra-judicial execution of a US citizen in Yemen and that that citizen's 16 year old son was collateral damage, killed in the attack? This is true. But where was the outrage then? Google Anwar al-Awaki and Abdulrahman al-Awlaki. Both were US citizens, Abdulrahman by birth, and Obama essentially had them executed. Food for thought.
