Happy New Year everyone! Just wanted to announce that I'll be re-starting commission openings "soon" (as always, my Eka's Portal page has the most up-to-date info on whether or not I'm open (check the queue at the bottom!)).

As part of the new year and new slew of commissions to come, I've decided, like many others, to bump my rates a bit. Admittedly this is purely a hobby for me, and I'm in no way dependent on doing these to sustain myself. (If it was, the prices would be much higher!) This change is reflected by relative demand I've had over the past year+ for writing stories, and to accommodate for a lot of the behind-the-scenes kind of work I do in order to prepare to write stories, post them, format them, etc. that weren't really reflected in the word-count-only pricing I've been doing up until now.

So what are the changes? Simple! Just a $10 increase on top of the word count metric. So instead of $20 = 2,000, it is $30 = 2,000. The same "+$10 = +1,000 words" price point remains, for simplicity.

What about non-commissions? Well, I do plan on releasing a new chapter of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorer Lutro every couple weeks or so. I still have a backlog of completed chapters to post so we'll be set for a little while, but I hope to get into writing that more. I also want to write more one-off stories of things I would like to do (something I've been slacking off in over the past several months).
