I've never used telegram. What makes it a better choice than discord?

It offers a much more seamless and easy way of connecting with others, including stickers, which are a major driving factor.

it's popular =___= sooner or later it's the easiest thing to collect people with, especially for conventions and organising stuff. and since i already have to use it for such i decided to give those chat groups a go. I prefer telegram for those since it's so much easier to reply and search conversation than discord. Plus it works better on phone (discord failed me many times to even notify me about a message on my phone). I only use discord for personal chats and games and small channels.

It only requires a phone number to sign up, can be run portably, and isn't nearly as buggy as Discord is. Also the UI customization options, if you're into that kind of thing, are vastly superior, in my opinion.

Dory worry about getting too into that social media thing.

remember who you're talking to xD i'm a dinosaur when it comes to technology xD i even refused using telegram for over a year but then it becamy the only valid tool to contact and organise teams for cons and getting to commissioners while on the con >.>

That's fair then, if it starts for business or friends then it can evolve into more X3
