PC update
Hello! I wanted to write a quick update to my PC situation. It seems that my EVGA gpu bit the dust when I transfered it to my new PC. That sounds a bit strange, but I had previously had a EVGA gpu start to fail unexpectedly before, in fact the one that failed this time was one I got as a replacement under warranty. I don't think I'll be buying from them again.
I wanted to thank everyone on sofurry and fa for the help, I got lots of great advice and was able to better pinpoint the problem. Thank you everyone!

It could be something as simple as static charge, and you not grounding yourself when you transferred the products. all it takes is even the barest hint, and ZAP. your tech is fried.
