Hey y'all,

Where to start.

First con. Been in this fandom since like '95.

I've never had so much fun. It was damn near a religious experience. I don't like to use hyperbole like 'life-changing' but this was.

Not a lot of pics, but what we took are RIGHT HERE.

SJ is a great place, super friendly, and even the industrial ghetto we wandered into (more on that later) wasn't too awful.

Oh, yeah, fanboy moment. Met  michelelight Got art, too! And a badge coming!

Talked to  gideon and got a sketch coming.

And art from  cooner.

Also, met  agouti-rex who is extremely entertaining, and will be doing me a sketch.

So, got in on Wednesday, got settled. Me and  bodiecoyote operated as a team for most of this.

Thursday was us trying to find SpaceCat Comics, which led us to the aforementioned ghetto. Saw a primer-grey Burger King, with busted windows, and a single sign declaring the drive thru was under repair.
Did some wandering, checked out things at the con. Got invited to the BABSCon party.

Saw this dude-  ace-orcinus who was crazy tall, and had an amazing 'suit.

Also, Vore Badger is a very fun 'suiter, giving out 'meat' to folks. Also has an AMAZING party trick.

Friday, we did the Bat panel, which was cool as hell. Also saw the HIV testing bus destroy one of it's roof AC units backing into the building.
And then did two of  melwhite's panels, and she is a joy. Learned some things, and got some stuff to think about.
Met  joebear67 who was a lot of fun as well.
Fancy Friday wasn't my thing, and I headed out to the Party Floor after a few minutes there.
So, I now have a new 'weirdest sentence'. 'I was having problems getting to the Brony party, between the Communists and Klingons.'

Saturday the Sponsor Brunch was good stuff, good food, fun people.
Hit the DEFCON Furs panel, learned a few things.
Went to the Puppy Play 101 meet and greet thing. Not my thing.
After that, had dinner with Dr. Mel and Joe Bear and two of their friends. While waiting at the restaurant, a rando wandered up to me and Bodie, 1000-yard-stared past us, and then, in the most defeated voice ever said 'Aw, shit.' and walked off.
Went to the Night Market. Too many people, and, uh, nothing I wanted to buy, lol.

Sunday we did the Transfurring Knowledge panel, which was a pretty interesting panel.
Then, Furry Movies, which was fun, learned about that new 'The Fandom' movie, interested in that.
FC: Unleashed . . . 3 words.

Also, nummy tots.

The yo-yo thing was crazy neat.

Holy hell, Fox & Pepper. My first concert. Met them both, Fox was nice, Pepper started laugh-sobbing and said 'I'm soooo sorry!' when I said it was my first concert, which made me laugh.

Concert raised $1500+ for the charity!

Monday I hit the Customer Service War Stories panel . . . and the guy running it all but demanded I do it with him next year.

Bittersweet day. Wandered the con space after it was mostly cleared out. So odd.

I want to do it again.

I will do it again.
