Betcha can't guess what scary cartoon about dolls being chased by nightmarish machines I recently got back from seeing. That's right, I just saw Shane Acker's 9 last night and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. It's not often we ever actually get to see animation like this in a mainstream world. I was however disappointed in seeing that there were still a whole bunch of kids when I went, oh but it was such sweet music to my ears hearing them crying for their mommies. I'm now thinking about going to see that Astro Boy. I am interested at the very least. I'm also looking forward to The Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Princess and the Frog (which is going to have none other than Keith David playing the villain, Dr. Facilier.) I myself am also interested in the prospects of animation, well first I would need to take major lessons in animation and art. I want to be able to bring traditional animation back to the mainstream at the same time to make animation that only adult viewers would be able to understand or even enjoy. I will not allow anything or any man to stand in my way. I must overcome low-tone muscles and achieve my success, but I cannot do this on my own. anyone interested in helping me please send me information about any good arts and animation schools you know and when/if I'm on the oscars accepting a little golden bald statuette I'll be sure to include in my thank you speech.
