I just need to rant for a bit....character/art theft...
DON'T FUCKING DO IT !
If a character does not belong to you....please for the love of god...leave it the fuck alone! If you don't have a sona...and you can't afford art...and you can't draw....I encourage you to please look up free bases! They are out there people! You can use these free bases to create yourself an OC! It's really not hard! But if you just take a character you found somewhere on the Internet....and use it as a "ref" or to rp with.....you👏are👏STEALING👏
that character that you just so casually took, BELONGS to someone. And all that art you also found to go along with that character? BELONGS TO THE OWNER OF THAT CHARACTER. They paid for those art pieces with their hard earned money! Or spent hours and hours drawing it themselves. You have absolutely zero rights to that character! The only time it would be ok for you to use that character in anyway would be if you had expressed consent from the owner! And don't even give me that Bullshit of "everyone else does it!" Ok but guess what....it doesn't make it ok! So if everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you jump off the bridge????? Everyone else that is also guilty of character theft.....is absolutely in the wrong! Please stop validating and justifying character theft, just because "everyone does it" 😑 flip the situation. Let's say you had a character, a character you put a lot of thought, time, and money into. From their creation, to the amount of money spent on art and maybe even suits for that character, so on and so forth.....then one day, you found that someone was just using your character all willy nilly without a care in the world. How would you feel???? I bet you wouldn't like it, especially depending on what they were doing with your character without your knowledge or consent.
Do not be another of the clueless......please educate yourself and please please please......find use the free tools and resources available to you.....before taking what isn't yours.....
