its alright man, you should draw what you feel like drawing. honestly people think I'm more into scat than I actually am just cause of how much I'm commissioned to do it. and i understand how it can become tiring. hope you continue to draw stuff that you enjoy ^^

Yeah... I got a reputation for being the weird artist pretty much sheerly from KomariAzuul commissions. I've heard of people being afraid to ask me for a commission because their idea isn't 'weird enough'.

You should! I used to post diaper stuff on my main and I got type casted into only diapers and it annoyed me. I just made a new account for it and it solved a lot of problems.

Tbh im indifferent to scat and i never saw you as a "scat" artist, but more of an artist that fits my tastes cuz youre abel to do bimbos, bustybois, jocks, fatties, slobs, weat, etc all so well even with all their differences!

the best thing about being as eclectic as you are in form and style means I didn't even notice the lack of scat stuff you've done. your work is great none the less!

I can also attest to a lot of scat fans being admittedly very quick to commission it, simply cause there aren't many artists who draw it as well as you. I've gotten my fair share of them too and I dont even post the scat pieces that get commissioned anymore simply cause its not the #1 thing people want out of my work so I keep losing followers cause of it.

all in all, I think you should do you more than anything and share the love with commissioners who follow your needs as much as theirs ^^

I am heavily into scat, but that isn't the reason I enjoy your art. I really like your hyper and the occasional odd body part or two. I am always afraid to get commissions from people who constantly draw super out there stuff, but I honestly can never think of what I want the art to be of :/

I think you just done it so many times that you are just looking for a change in something different. There was a time someone asked for a commission of a sex store but then suddenly i got asked by four different people. I did the two but when three was asked, i said no more. I was getting tired of drawing the same thing. After taking a break, i got over it, now i don't mind doing it again. So i would say you probably need a break from scat till its not so monotonous. Drawing the same stuff, especially for commissions, can get repetitive. I've definitely gotten burned out on things myself and had to take a break or a step back. I know there's a frustration with being pigeon-holed (like I've been told by folks that they were surprised I could do a "normal" pinup or draw something cute which is like... thanks). You seem like an artist with an open mind and a variety of things you're good at, I think whatever you choose to prioritize or focus on will still be well received.

I split my accounts in two to try to counteract that, but I feel like all that did was make it easier to ignore my clean/safe stuff.

And yeah, I had the exact same problem. I didn't mention it in the journal, but I've definitely heard of people who didn't want to commission me because they were worried I'd turn their idea down for being too normal.

I'm sorry to hear it's gotten to that pint, but I'm glad you're being vocal about it and not just continuing something you want to take a break from.

Also I 100% understand what you mean about still liking it but not commissioned. I got stuck doing the same thing but with tf art. All people wanted was the same generic idea. It got so bad I just said no more, especially since people thought the only thing I would draw was tf art. I still like it and draw it, but I don't do tf commissions anymore. It's helped me lots and maybe it will help you!

If it's anything, I understand how you feel, even if it's less from the artist side and more from the commissioner side. As hot as all hell it is, it's frustrating that a lot of times I get pigeonholed as the "guy who commissions a bunch of scat". It's like, I'm not that one dimensional, and it's frustrating to be put in that position. I did the same thing for a while, even going as far as completely remaking my online persona to escape from that.

I've never thought of you as simply a scat artist, though. You do your TTRPG work with Kah and the rest of the FAPP team, and beyond that, you have an excellent SFW portfolio. You have fascinating and wonderful ideas in your own right, and create some really, really cool stuff.

I get the feeling. Despite varied drawings i have in my gallery, farts seem to gain most attraction and its the most asked fetish from me. There's couple of other fetishes too that i've been asked to draw frequently, like hyper prolapses and such, but i've kinda intentionally stopped posting them all. Though i can understand it being especially being frustrating if comissions are your main source of income and it's 90% of what people are asking from you.

There ain't no problem with that. You are not obligated at all to draw things you don't feel like drawing. Especially if over saturation is happening (People get locked into tunnel vision sometimes.)

I know I sure as heck got tired of how many people wanted only cows or only butts a few years back. Or even with how many people just kept calling me "the butt guy". Anyone with like a moderate amount of empathy is gonna understand how you're feeling here even if they haven't been in this situation. The most and only important thing is to just do you and enjoy yourself afterall

Understandable. scat drawings alone coukd get tiresome after a while but scat seems to be a easy addition to other kinks. Wanna make your slobby character extra slobby add scat. Wanna make your diaper character seem extra kinky scat. And vore... well what goes in has to come out. I agree with others that its likely burnout but also i think it might be subconscious or conscious desire to expand your artistic horizons. Of course im mr clueless when it comes to such things im nowhere near as prolific? Practiced? (You been drawing comissions and propper artist endeavors a hell of alot longer than ive been drawing circles and attempting muzzles is what my slerp deprived brains wanna say but cant propperly think how to.) Regardless if this is causing you mental and emotional turmoil I think taking a break from drawing it will do you some good even if you dont wanna draw it again i doubt anyone of true value will think ill of you. Last thing i think anyone wants is for you to lose your want to draw. Your a long standing part of this community thats been around what 15 ish years? Rambling... um yeah just do what u feel is best your friends will have your back and so will your fans.

I'm always of the opinion that creators of all kinds should be creating what they want to create and not creating things that they don't regardless of the reason for it, it's what leads to the best art I think.

I love your scat art but if you don't want to draw it, temporarily or permanently, I don't want to see you draw it. I'd rather there be less of a thing I like than have artists drawing it when they don't want to, and I'd like to think that most people feel the same way.

Your art is excellent, regardless of the subject! You're extremely talented and have been for a long long time! I look forward to seeing whatever is next in the pipeline regardless of content.
