February Update 2020

I had intended to post this journal yesterday, but was unable to due to FA's down time.
So first and foremost: Happy Birthday to me! I turned 26 yesterday. Had a decent day, nice and simple and quiet, just how I like it. But this age comes with it a whole new hurdle for me to face, that being having to get my own health/dental/vision insurance as I can no longer receive it through my parents. And let me tell you, for all the times you hear about the process being difficult and stressful, you never really get a good visual of how difficult it is until you have to do it yourself.
Now, I'm not able to get health insurance through work, as I work part time and they only offer it to full time employees, and I cannot move to full time currently as doing so would make attending college courses difficult. I won't get into the whole nitty-gritty, but Its been a roller coaster ride and I very much want to get off of it.
On that note, I wanted to apologise to the two raffle winners who haven't gotten their prizes yet. Between the scramble to figure out how health insurance works and apply for it, on top of the stresses of work and my college courses, I haven't gotten as much work done on those as I would have liked. I am still pecking at them, they will not be abandoned. I have spring break on the second week of March, and have managed to get off work the same week, so my hope is that if they're not done by then that I'll have more than enough time to work them out.
In other news, my 3-year anniversary with my lovely
GonnaEatcha is coming up on the 23rd. Love you very much hon, and I'm looking forward to spending many more years with you <3. Might have something related to that coming up soon-ish, time will tell.
Finally, I wanted to ask you all a question regarding written content. See, I've been rather antsy regarding my written work as of late - in particular, the longer series. I love working out longer, drawn-out stories that take place over chapters, but at the same time Im finding the episodic momentum of them to be equally frustrating as well as entertaining. I have a lot of ideas, but Im afraid of tackling too much at once, especially when building off of the series that are already partway produced. Ultimately, the question I wanted to ask is this: What do you guys wanna see more? I've decided to create a poll so you guys can cast a vote towards which you'd prefer to see more.
The poll covers something i've been thinking about for a while - a full-fledged reboot of my pokemon series. My old work would remain, but I would be starting fresh from the beginning, giving current characters new introductions and a revamped setting. Could potentially follow similar plot points, or I could try following new ideas. Of course, I could also try to salvage my old stuff and build off of that too after all these years.
On that same note, I could also focus on non-pokemon, self-made characters, like Martel.

As for your writing, I'd be very interested to see what a full reboot would look like. Always exciting to see what differences come about, and what aspects make a return.
