WOW. Film making just changed big time. Disney's The Mandalorian is using Epic's Unreal Game Engine to create virtual sets. This is not green screen. It is entirely new filming technique. They build the entire set in VR and put it on led screens that surround the set. Yes a 20 ft curved LED screen and a 10 foot wide ceiling LCD screen. The LED screens light the actors so you get all the shadows and reflections of what is on the LCD screens. Very realistic.

If you follow technology, this will interest you. It definitely is a game changer in film making.

My final thought: the Star Trek holodeck is rapidly becoming reality.
