ive been thinking an awful lot about making a furry series thats animated
but ill be honest
im so bad at stories, i enjoy even the simpliest and easiest to follow plotlines and Id enjoy any movie.
Simply, I'm terrible at story writing and im totally incapable of deciphering a good movie from a bad one other than /the vibes/ and the last thing i want to do is work blood sweat and tears to produce a feature animation for my portfolio with a weak plotline.

I mean, I've always had a comic idea with characters involved. I even fleshed out a lot of plot points and scenes with my twin.
But unfortunately my teen self wasn't able to recognize that someone being cheated on isnt really the catalyst you need to start a real plotline....

Anywho my point being... I'm looking for a comic series to animate.
Something funny and can be used for short one or two line jokes (for the sake of quick animations) and possibly in the future have longer, fleshed out setting and cast... even possible character development and that if I can keep it going for a while.....

The comic I personally have in mind would probably have to have a script written by someone else.
take place in the 00s, 90s or 80s before cellphones, and feature teenaged characters to appeal to a wide variety of viewers (on youtube) and feature PG or G rated content and jokes (perferably lots of animal puns) I might make it more mature rated with alcohol and drug use (its based on teenagers... and a beach) but nothing sexual other than the implied relationships characters might have. Drama encouraged for the story.
The main characters are Slin, the older brother, and the younger sibling is transgender. Slin feels overprotective, and might be the only one that knows their siblings birth gender. Slin is kinda into smoking a lot of pot and kinda never wants to get a job so he isnt the best role model for his sibling. But Slin's cheeky; and cocky attitude can slide back into heartwarming wholesome brother-brother love and support.

Other than that..... we didnt have any story other than Slin teaches younger brother how to use a bong.... Yep thats the only animation i have in mind for promotion of the series...
Yep scene 1 - Evening on the beach. Slin and his younger brother are in his van with the windows down and Slin is trying to coach his younger brother how to smoke weed. They're moving soon and he wants to make sure his brother is going to be cool enough to hang with new friends.
I do realize kids are DEFINATELY not that concerned with being "cool" like they used to... but bear with me the comic takes place in like 2005. Being obnoxious like jim carrie was considered funny and you could insult someone by saying "well you're gay!" and it was actually something that made people legitimately laugh or get offended. It was a different time and I hope to underline that and capture the world we used to know
