Barometric Migraines
5 years ago
Hi all~!
As most of you probably already know I'm suffering from migraines a lot (like today u.u). I have always seen colleration between barometric pressure rise and the killer headaches. I was looking for some scientific data on how does the pressure rises look around the world and after some years I've found a good article. I'm sharing it for all of you that suffer from migrains themselves, or whose friends and close ones do. If my share helps at least one person understand it better, than I'm happy. And I'm moving south ASAP lol

Please, note that (aside from some crazy ones xd) there are comments that point out that there are apparently two types of barometric pressure induced migrains. Ones are about the pressure change value, others about it's velocity. So some people can be zombies when it slowly reaches from 1000 hPa to 1030 hPa (so 30 hPa difference, it's a big change I can tell you xD) and some can be perfectly fine then, but suffer greatly if some other day it rapidly goes from 995 hPa to 1000 hPa (so only 5 hPa difference).
Thus some places mapped may be misleading, as i.e. Florida which is all painted blue on the map, meaning it's a migraine-sufferer heaven, but many people say it's actually hell due to smaller, but very rapid changes, that the mapping systhem didn't include and for those people UK seems much better, despite being supposedly much harsher on the map. Still many people say that this map pinpointed their migraine pattern and is matching their expirience, so perhaps it could help some of you.
I'm curious how it works for you and if the article is of any help, or you deem it worthless based on your experience, so please, leave comments and share your vews and maybe we all will be able to make something out of it all and get rid of those headaches and live our lives to the fullest, without 1/3rd of our lifetime spent suffering or on strong meds ;_;
Also sorry for the grammar, I've been fixing it for like half an hour already but I give up. I have too much of a headache to be able to concentrate u.u

That's fascinating. Can't say I've ever gotten a barometric migraine, but I am no stranger to them (I would have them weekly when I was a child).

Hey man, I've been suffering from chronic migranes. Lately I have started using CBD oil. Do some reading about it. I might help you. It totally did for me.
