Hot. Melia enjoys relaxing with hot baths, preferably lots of bubbles. She enjoys soft smells, like lavender or sage. She especially enjoys sipping a sweet chilled wine, or warm tea while she soaks.

Melia is especially fond of autumn. She loves the smells, colors, and the satisfying crunch of the dry leaves. She also enjoys winter, even if it isn't the same as her home. Where Melia grew up ice would coat the trees, and they would appear gold when the sun shown behind them. Where she is now, it's more wet and less cold. So snow is a bit rare. But she does like the cooler temperatures.

Melia is surprisingly girly in some situations, and enjoys the way full circle skirts flow. However she doesn't like to define herself by gender. Melia's style is just that: an individual's style. She doesn't let others dictate her life. As such, Melia can most often be found in comfortable pants and a either a loose fitting shirt, or a shirt that shows off her boobs. Sometimes she just loves the way she looks in a dress, admiring how sexy she appears in it.

Melia was raised to get up early, and get things done. She spent some years where she was required to get up early. However, she is a night owl at heart. She loves the quiet of the night, and soft glow of the moon. Although, this might be because of her insomnia.

Melia tends to eat small amounts throughout the whole day. However, her favorite breakfast food is sausage. Her dragon heritage, that gave her unusual teeth, not only allows her to digest meat but means that it is necessary for her to remain healthy. She once spent some time with a true horse anthro, not eating meat. It was not long before she felt lethargic, and depressed. But after eating some meat she would feel better.

Melia sometimes has an over active startle response, as a result from past trauma. However she has learned many tricks over time to calm herself back down.

Melia drinks a cup of coffee every morning, and often drinks several cups of tea. Sometimes she enjoys the soft flavor of chamomile or a lavender and lemon tea she recently found. Other times, however, she prefers strong flavors of chai and Earl Grey.

Melia truly enjoys dogs, but harbors no resentment for cats. She will always try to help animals in need. As a result she has adopted cats and dogs in the past.

Melia used to read, but after an unfortunate head blow she has found reading more difficult. She also used to write more frequently, ideas flowing freely from some strange place within her soul. Stress seems to have placed a dam between her and the place that ideas and stories used to flow from. She hopes that this dam will crack, or even fall apart, with time.

Life has been hard on Melia. Even though many think she is too young for such issues, her knees, hips, and back begin to ache after even a short walk. She pushes past this in her pursuit to find quiet spots in the woods, however. Although she still doesn't spend nearly as much time outside as she used to.

Somethings she over prepares for. But most of the time she finds herself desperately trying to keep up with others or gain enough space in a situation so that she can figure it out. For somethings she is very good at this, such as learning to be better at something she has some experience with. However she is never well prepared for social situations.

Definitely rainy weather. She loves the sound of it, and the grey and gloomy nature of cloudy weather. Thunder and lightning make her feel alive. Sunny weather is too bright, and hurts her eyes.

Melia feels most alone when with more than one or two others. She never did learn how to communicate with a group, although she doesn't experience stage fright and can easily communicate to a group. She also most often finds that others seem to ignore her presence when she is with a group.

She prefers 24 hour time, however most of the people she knows use 12 hour time. So she ends up translating often.

Melia is generally pretty good at understanding concepts as they are taught to her, so she doesn't study or cram. Sometimes she finds that this is not sufficient, at which point she tends to cram.

She keeps her things in a state of "organized" chaos. No one else could find something specific, but she generally can with very little searching. Having things too neat makes her nervous, so if she has the opportunity she'll add some clutter to a neat space.
