Artist Appreciation!

The ever talented irdeorum is holding an art raffle to celebrate their recent watcher account, and I of course had to jump on that. Their illustrative style is stunning, and as tempting as it would be to request a custom design (because honestly, have you seen their adoptables?) I have my fingers crossed that I can request art of Gilded in an outfit of their making. They mentioned that making a journal to celebrate some favourite artists on the site could earn you a second raffle number, and I thought it was a great way to talk about some of the artists I really look up to and why. If you don't make the list I'm very sorry... I watch so so many amazingly skilled and talented people, but these are the ones that for whatever reason I'm thinking of especially at this moment. Irdeorum definitely makes this list in their own right, which they made absolutely clear was not a requirement but I wanted to include anyway. If you haven't seen their work, you really should.
First mention goes to Dracononite, who joined when I was trying to get active again on my old account. I don't remember how I stumbled across their art at the time, but I fell in love and commissioned a few avatars. You can imagine my surprise when I came back almost two years later and saw just how much they had flourished as an artist. They've always had such expressive art and a great use of colour, but I'm so blown away by their work now. Definitely check them out if you like cute character design and fun, colourful, cartoony styles.
Next is Jubilations, who I've been following on other platforms for a little over a decade. They've been an inspiration to me since my middle school deviantart days, but I lost track of them a while. You can imagine my surprise when I realized they were that Jubilations, and it's amazing to see how someone you've always looked up to never stopped improving and is still such an even more phenomenal artist now.
One of my newer favourite artists is Seyorrol. It is genuinely hard not to dump their entire gallery into my favourites. I hope I can commission them someday, because their paintings/illustrations are some of the most stunningly detailed and beautiful I've seen on this platform. I think they might just be one of my favourite artists period at this point. Their aesthetic reminds me of a lot of old high fantasy artwork.
Now for a completely different painted, and one who does some of my favourite digital painting! Everything Sharley does is both beautifully stylized and gorgeously intricate. I love her style and use of colour, and she's another artist on the top of my list of those I'd love to commission someday.
I also want to include Vekke, who I love for their lines and use of shape. They have such a bold, crisp style that I love to see. Their recent icon work is particularly stunning, and I'm happy to see any that appears in my inbox.
Last but not least, I want to put pluviofleur on the list. They have a fondness for gore that I sadly do not share, but I happily follow their gallery anyway and enjoy everything that comes through my inbox due to their wonderfully expressive style and great eye for design. There's this slightly faded, textured look to most of their art that I really just love.
Like I said before, there's so so many amazing artists I could follow and my favourites are cluttered with lots that I couldn't mention without this just turning into an essay. I hope anyone who reads this and isn't familiar with any of the artists I mentioned gives them a look!
