Being on the frontlines of a pandemic (in the NHS)
5 years ago
As many of you know I work in healthcare, and am seeing first hand the experiences of the virus from those suffering from it. People are hysterical, but please, whilst it looks extremely unpleasant, and can have complications if there are underlying health problems, try not to panic, the likelihood is you will recover if you are infected. Stay hydrated and keep your temperature cool.
The alarming thing is how infectious the disease is. Before your government enforces this I will advise to NOT TRAVEL ANYWHERE unless absolutely necessary for work or for food. Do not attend large gatherings, and avoid crowds of people. Stay safe.
Thankfully despite being exposed to infected individuals I remain symptom free, because i am self isolating and washing my hands thoroughly, please do the same.

??? what are your thoughts?
.... didn’t know you were in medical ;
But now I gotta say, as someone just working the stepping stone retail job right now.
It’s unfortunate feeling at risk for a few bucks and hour and idiots who need to shop RIGHT NOW
BUT that applies to 24/7 anyway
Good advice. Be clean. Be smart.
They think it is 🤣
And if they get locked at home WELL. At least they got tp, no foodstuffs tho
