NH Furs Update and URGENT MESSAGE

If you have an idea for a meet, just shoot us a note and we'll update the journal to advertise your meet! Remember, all you need to host a meet is the Time, Place, Price (if applicable), and a way to contact you! It's as simple as that!

FIRST UP:
IF YOU ATTENDED THE NH FURBOWL: Please be aware that there is the possibility someone there was in contact with a confirmed COVID19 patient. They did not know before the bowl. This person has shown no symptoms, but the disease can be spread with no symptoms. While the risk is low, we advise everyone to watch your health and self-isolate whenever possible. Do not visit with elderly or otherwise compromised people.
Also remember that even if you do not show symptoms you can still carry and spread the disease. The best course of action is self isolation.

theredbandit here with a little update! NH is currently responding to the rise in COVID19 cases across the state, and in order to help keep numbers low and health a priority, we will not be holding any meets until the end of the crisis, as recommended by the CDC! We also highly suggest that if you can, plan a digital hangout! We have a Google Drive file for NH Furs and friends to share Discord info and links to fun online games. Want to host a hangout online? The best way to get in touch is to check out our chat on Telegram ( https://t.me/NHFurries )! There's so much we can do to keep having fun while minimizing the risk of transmission! Please get your info from verifiable sources like the World Health Org and the Center for Disease Control when making decisions about your health and protective measures you can take during this pandemic!
Want some ideas of fun things to plan online" Try a game of Pictionary, host a Discord sketch swap, play a game on Steam, find which of your fur friends like the same MMO's and team up! Try using a video watching app to watch movies with friends! Also, check in on your friends with phonecalls and texting. Social distancing doesn't have to be lonely!
For now, all regular meets are being postponed. Any meets held in NH at this time are not associated with the NH Furs, and we advise against going to any large gatherings. Stay safe, stay healthy, and wash your paws!
