Update on my life
            To whomever reads these,
Hello from the other side. To anyone that thought I deactivated my account or something bad happened to me good news I'm still here standing. I would never leave this site without writing a proper farewell message. I've made some friends on here and I'm hoping they still want to communicate with me.
I've just been so busy with my personal life that I've only stopped by here on an occasion, mostly without logging in. By that statement, it's great to see how so many of my watchers and those I've been watching have been doing a great job with their artwork and stories.
The other reason for my lack of participation, I have stories in mind and desire to write them but between a lack of motivation and my job it's been tough to find time to put pen to paper/finger to keyboard.
I hope not to offend anyone when I say this but the majority of people who view my stuff only do it for the artwork my friends have created. THAT'S RIGHT I'M GOING THERE! They are great pictures of my characters and my friends have done an awesome job fleshing out the details I've put only into words, but it does bother me that not as many people come to read the stories as well. I know pictures are worth a thousand words and look better but I'm not that great of an artist and can only hope to improve on both talents during these tough times. I'm sorry to anyone who's feelings I have hurt but I need to vent and it's better to do it in writing than to punch a hole in my wall.
On that note: I'm unfortunately one of the thousands of preschool workers who currently are on "Spring break or longer" within NYC; which makes my life tougher because I do not know if I'll get paid during these weeks of no work as I'm only part time. My full time co-workers were complaining how the schools should close down so that we don't get sick but they don't want to use their sick time to get paid. I'm sorry but you're full time, so they are required to pay you regardless of you coming in. Especially if this bill to compensate workers goes into effect which as far as I've heard only helps the full time staff. What do we part time workers do about paying our bills? No one seems to mention us. And another thing:
WE WORK WITH 2 YEAR OLDS. THEY ARE ALWAYS GOING TO HAVE RUNNY NOSES, COUGH ON US, AND POTENTIALLY COME TO SCHOOL WITH A LOW GRADE FEVER BECAUSE THEIR PARENTS CANNOT FIND LAST MINUTE BABYSITTERS. It doesn't matter if it's Corona, the flu, or even the common cold; you knew what you were signing up for when you chose to go into teaching birth to 8 yrs olds. They are bound to come into school with something that will end up either on us or something we will touch.
Anyway, I think I've vented enough for one journal entry. My hope is to at least update these and hit favorite on some new artwork/stories, maybe I'll even find time to write a story or something so be on the look out for that. Everyone take care of yourselves, love each other and help your neighbors.
