Depending on your school schedule, I wouldn't recommend trying to balance work and school at the same time let alone work, school, and arting at the same time. A VERY common mistake is that people look at the workload at the beginning of the semester and think, "Hey, I can squeeze more stuff I'm interested into that schedule!" The reality is, you just need to squeeze in whatever extra reading you can squeeze into that so things get a bit easier later on. Once mid terms and finals hit, you'll feel like you got run over by a train after a while. With work on top of it all, this is when students start regretting certain decisions earlier on.

Bottom line is that, unless you are taking one or two classes per semester, you aren't setting yourself up well later on by working at the same time and you'll get killed by the work towards the end (when grades typically count the most!)

This is very good advice!! Younger would have definitely needed this to avoid previous burnouts! Current me however has learned a lot about myself in the past, plus my current degree only requires me to do two classes per semester. I shift my priorities whenever I need to focus on assignments/projects, but I more often than not have extra time to put into other areas as I feel to.

Thank you for your concern yes! Since school is priority, whenever that needs attention everything else has to stop, which slows everything else down but I gotta finish this degree first and foremost!

That's a relief that it only requires two courses per semester. I've met waaaay too many students that think they could handle 4 courses and a full time job. I've met maybe one or two that succeeded in passing everything in the process, though both had slow jobs where they could study at work. I don't know by how much, but my guess is that they scraped by in the process. Regardless, all of them regretted trying it by the end of the semester because grades suffered. So, when I saw your post, I thought "uh oh..." but looks like a false alarm on my part.
