So, really good good awesome kitty news, mew. I passed all my PhD quals! YAY!
These were pretty much, I had five tests to take, generally in the first couple years of study, to prove that I knows all the undergrad level material well enough to pursue mah PhD. I's in Computer Engineering, so these were Circuits, Digital logic, Operating systems, Computer architecture, and Digital signal processing. And mew, I passed all five on my first shot! They say that only happens maybe once every couple of years!
So I's really really happeh and excited, mew. It also frees up a ton of time this semester that most students use for remedial work. What shall I do with this time? We shall see, mew!
