Hello everyone !
In this journal I'll explain a few things about the reminder spam you saw for about two weeks.
First things first, I need to say that I don't intend to stop posting theses reminders on a very regular basis. If you're not happy about it, just unfollow me ! I'm not judging you nor saying this in a sarcastic way. If you don't like the way I do things I completly understand it. Also, this will not be a problem because having followers clearly wasn't one of my goals here.
My first goal was to provide cheap designs to everyone on this website. I've noticed that a lot of furries really want to have a fursona or characters that stand out by their colors or fur patterns but not everyone is able to create designs that they like and/or want to keep. With my designs I want to make theses accessible to the whole community for a reasonable price. So by having very regular reminders I'm having more people seeing this possibility and with my large amount of designs they have a large choice of things they might like
Also, a little thing about my designs is that they sometimes are pretty unusual. Weird fur patterns, strange colors or even a weird general theme ! I do this because they are one of my favorite kind of designs to make. But since they are so special, it's hard to find people that like them. So by posting more often, I make theses more visible and a lot more people might find them nice ! for exemple, theses : https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34331190/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34658611/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34203557/ are pretty different than the usual adopts you'll find but they still found owners !
And my other goal was also to make a bit of money. Right now I'm saving money to print things and go to artist alley in conventions to sell keychains, pins, badges, ect. But before doing all of that I need to gather a bit of money before being able to do all of that. I'm not able to get a job right now (I have a chronical illness named fibromyalgia that doesn't let me stand up or even sit for too long ) so I'm still living with my parents and this is my only sort of income. So having a lot of reposts helps me have about one sale per two days, which about 5$ a day.
And to end all of that, I'd like to add that making designs takes time. And on the 418 designs I posted on this account, only 73 sold which is only about 20% of them. I'm not mad or anything about it, but this still means that 80% of my work isn't going to give me anything and that's a lot of time spent. (plus, my last designs sold a lot less than before)
I hope this made everything clear for you, and explains why I post reminders that much. I can't do anything about it unless I magically find something that makes my design sell more or if I post adopts for an higher price which I'm NOT going to do because it'll ruin the whole idea behind this account.
