Well then.
A few days ago I received an email from the IB coordinatory saying that the 2020 examination has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This effectively means I won't be able to apply for uni this fall, as they won't let me in without having finished basic school. Thus, I will be stuck here in McPurgatory for at least one more year.
I'm not quite as bummed out by this as you'd probably think, but it's still a bit of a punch in the gut.
There's not much I can do about it, and I know there are people out there who have been hit way harder by Corona-chan than me. I honestly don't know what this will mean for my writing, which is what people are here for. My passion for it is as dead as ever, so don't expect anything.
