Well, I'll get straight into things, as of yesterday, 31-MAR-2020, we've had eighty-nine (89) confirmed cases of COVID-19 and the fourth (4th) death.
It's been day two (2) of the country's fifteen (15) day lockdown and measures are ramping up. Today, our Minister of National Security reduced the number of persons allowed to gather from ten (10) to just five (5).
And there has been an increase in the number of police and local army patrolling the streets. Basically, if you're not essential, then you have no reason to be out on the streets, unless you're going to the grocery or pharmacy. If you can't back up why you're outside your home if or when you're stopped by the local police and/or army, you can be charged and either fined (TT$50,000.00) or spend six (6) months in prison. Yup, I wish I was making this up. These are the measures that the Government has put in place to ensure persons stay at home over the next two (2) weeks in order to "flatten the curve" and give this COVID-19 a much lesser chance of spreading.
It'd be foolish to say that I'm not scared and frightened at this point, as my job has deemed me essential and has issued me a LETTER OF AUTHORISATION to show to the police/army should they stop me and ask why I'm outside my home. I shouldn't have nothing to fear but still, they was a video circulating of police officers harassing and (dare I say) antagonizing socially displaced persons but the Commissioner of Police re-assured the nation that there will always be rogue elements in any workforce, that an investigation has been launched into the matter, and that citizens/workers should have nothing to fear once they're deemed essential and leaving their homes for legitimate reasons.
So, I have one day to work this week, as in physically go in to the office, whilst for the rest of the week I'm working from home so I'll see how that goes, the day I have to leave home to head in the office I mean.
Other than that, I've been trying to keep my mind busy of late. Hasbro recently released fifteen (15) full episodes of G.I. Joe on their YouTube Channel, and that's been keeping me busy for the time being, until I finish watching it and find something else to binge-watch.
Before that was Beastars, which I don't want to get into at the moment as I feel I'd need to dedicate a separate journal to share my thoughts on it.
I heard Star Trek: Picard was decent and I may look into that more.
Haven't played much of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order as I kinda got bored of that but I should really continue it as I don't like to leave things unfinished. Which also reminds me, I need to restart Shadow of the Colossus also.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, it's AWESOME APRIL. Apart from wanting to post more of my backlogged commissioned artworks, it's also my birth month. Yup, I'm an April baby. :3 You'll all find out when's my birthday as I'll most likely post a celebratory happy birthday journal, although, with the way how things are going right now, I'm not sure how much of a birthday it'll be.
Anyways, I've said enough.

Fuck Picard. The show is a fucking disaster. Stewart and the rest of the writers and producers are out of their minds if they think any of this is acceptable. Everything he and the rest did to Star Trek has fucking pissed off so many fans its not even funny. CBS has ruined ST, and Stewart should retire and move on.

It is, it completely ruins everything. They dumb the show down for the average american who is NOT star trek fans or would ever watch it. On top of that they throw bullshit science crap that makes no sense. HERE HAVE SOME FRACTAL NEURONIC CLONING WHERE WE CLONE AN ENTIRE POSITRONIC BRAIN FROM ONE TINY CELL. Or a fucking lil hand doodad that fucking recreates an entire crimescene with fucking holographic technology. This shit would not exist in star trek, especially at the time period the show is at. This shit is far too advanced to even make sense for the show. Then majority of the show is using retarded current age lingo which breaks suspension of disbelief like no tomorrow. On top of that they completely destroyed star fleet and how it works. They disrespect picard and put him in his place for no apparent reason. Nothing makes sense. Its like they put retard monkies in front of a computer and let them bash on the keyboard. Also apparently we have irish and british accented romulans, like, heavily thick, accents. Spoilers be damned this shit fucking sucks insurmountable amount of aids.

Oh it gets worse. Icheb a promising alien from the delta quadrant from voyager? They kill him off, no reason. The person you had most hope for for becoming human again along with Seven of Nine? She becomes such a cynical bitch she goes on killing without regret joining mercs. YEAH THIS IS THE HOPEFUL FUTURE WE ALL REALLY HOPED FOR HUH? This show is fucking SHIT. They should be ashamed of themselves. They never should've been given the rights to greenlight anything. This show is just one huge piece of woke garbage. They have no respect for the source material what so ever. If you didn't learn from discovery being a disaster, then theres no hope for the series
