Descent Into Madness

In eternity, where there is no time, nothing can grow. Nothing can become. Nothing changes. So death created time to grow the things that it would kill and you are reborn but into the same life that you've always been born into.
I fear I have exacerbated something that I shouldn't have. This journal is going to hold a humorous tone, as it should, but I'm also really pretty serious with my concerns. I found out my dad had watched a recent horror movie called Midsommer. It's on my watch list, but I haven't gotten around to it. He enjoyed it because of its similarity to the original "Wicker Man" movie from the 70's. I asked him if he'd ever heard of "Hereditary", he said no, but became intrigued, inquired about it online, and watched it. The movie was clearly a ride for him, and I think he wants to watch more. He then asked me "Have you heard of this movie called Antichrist?"
"Oh jesus christ dad...uhm...okay man, spoilers be damned...go online and read the synopsis to that movie before you watch it. There's stuff in that movie that...really bothers people." I try not to tell people "Don't watch that!" but good god! PACE YOURSELF!! I'm trying to think of something a couple of notches higher on the "happy" scale in the fucked up horror/thriller movie thing to steer him away from mind-altering films XD

All three have comedic bits to it, but of them I've only fully watched Shaun of the Dead, I've seen part of TCITW and haven't watched World's End at all.
