Down but not out...

The household Coffee Pot has finally given up.
I mean it lasted quite some time, given it's on average made three "14 cup" pots of java daily for three or four years I'd say that Cuisinart did good work on this one.
It just means that my family and I had to pull out the reserve.
It's a small tabletop urn kind of coffee pot. Avocado green, maybe three cups worth of coffee at a time. Says EMPIRE on the side.
Man, it feels like we've always had this thing. My earliest memory was it traveling with us in the car years back when we drove to Disneyland.
It's always been there for us when we found ourselves 'between' coffee makers.
Anyways it makes a powerful brew which will keep us going until we can plan an excursion to Canadian Tire and get a new machine.

I had a Godiva brand pot that lasted like 10 years before though.
Never had a 'reserve' pot though XD Avocado color sounds wild, like something from the 80s. The most colorful I have ever had was a metallic red.
