Apparently there is no such thing as Left Wing Extremism if what I’ve seen on Twitter is to be believed. I have seen quite a few young liberal furries who put “proud communist” in their bio. Or Socialist. Like dear god the American education system has failed this generation.

I've pointed out this double standard to Dragoneer multiple times, seeing as the new "no extremist imagery or promotion of hate groups" policy he's enforcing should most definitely apply to all the countless submissions made by self-proclaimed communists showing characters wearing black bloc attire and enacting their gory revenge fantasies on actual fursuiters (often depicted with Nazi insignia, no less), but predictably, he deletes every shout I leave on his profile within minutes (along with any other shouts left by people criticizing his leadership). I can't say I'm surprised, seeing as he (along with a lot of other people running this site) will actively encourage people to use dishonest tactics to shun anyone supporting freedom of speech, even going as far as to call people carrying American flags "racists, Nazis, and bigots". Apparently, according to the people currently running this site right now, it's okay to show violent extremism as long as it fits their political slant.

Worth pointing out FA is not a free speech platform, and likely this is pressure coming from the advertisers to the corporate entity that really runs the site

I find the more likely explanation to be that a large number of furries are just hateful leftists who want every opportunity they can get to shit on everyone who doesn't exactly match their own twisted ideologies.

I really wish people would quit trying to fight eachother and work together for a change, this constant blaming of the other side of the aisle is getting old, All I ever hear these days is one party blaming the other instead of trying to find solutions. I'd love nothing more. But the proof's in the pudding on this site; one side is clearly being favored over another. Extremism on both sides needs to be addressed, and it isn't.

It's their platform, they call the shots, that's why other sites exist :P But honestly, I think most of this comes from the primary funding source having policies that affect things for the site, I forget who bought FA sometime back, but I'm sure they're a public company with shareholders, I've noticed shareholders tend to be liberal leaning folks, equality and such. Put on the good face so we can milk money from all groups of people etc (On that note please buy stuff from AT&T :P I like the dividend)

I think if people could embrace equality we could focus our energy on things like border control etc, I hate to say it but radical religion seems to be the broader issue in most instances these days

you do know that this is not a ban on anything of historical stuff (you can still draw your Wolfenstein/Mauz fanart) its more targeting people who try and abuse things to push some subtle alt-right propaganda/apologetics (a problem that has been surfaced since 2016)
