How to make your pic show better on the browse page??

My pictures always look so small on the front browsing page while others are a lot more big and visible. Mine tend to be around the same size at about 900 x 1100. Is there something I'm missing? Is it random? I really want to know because I feel like it's causing my work to get overlooked.
After you upload it reupload the file. FA compresses submissions in order to save on file space but if you resubmit it using the edit submission feature it will upload the full sized image. That said all images are the same size when people are browsing so submission size really doesn't matter that much. If you want your stuff to get seen your best bet is to use Twitter as that's how most people bring attention to their work now.

Thanks so much for the advice, I really appreciate it! I've been avoiding making a Twitter for so long, but maybe it's about time I finally give in.

Twitter's not so bad. I just recommend only posting when you have art to upload or if you do end up interacting with people do what I do-limit yourself to a maximum of two hours a day and only ten minutes per each of those hours. I don't always stick to that but for the most part I do my best to avoid getting into any kind of argument or long-term discussion there. They're not worth it.
