I totally agree with you about the new forbidden topics on FA. If you deny someone to talk about a topic, it'll become a taboo.

Talking about the limit to the reminders, if they added a fucking option to a post to classify it like YCH/reminder/adopt/raffle/etc. people could choose what kind of content see in their submissions page. They could add an automatic system to send timed self-destroying reminders, without the need by the artist to re-upload again and again the same pic, for example (*happy CDN and server storage noises*).

Finally, come on guys, it's a so stupid idea to power-up the platform like that <.<
The future is in microservices, container-based servers, cloud architecture and so on, not in starting a race in who has more CPU and RAM *upset and angry software engineer noises*

The site will never improve, the admins can't do it, they don't know how. They have some coder that learnt basic html 20 years ago and is site building with that. They made some improvements after they hired a horrible horrible dangerous person known as Zidonuke who goes around putting spyware and backdoors into everything he designs so that he can later destroy the website or steal people's information at his own whim and they did it in secret so no one would know he was a web dev here. When people found out, everyone raged and they had to let him go and the site designs stopped coming all that much, just slight UI tweaks here and there now.

This site will never have good features like FN has. FN needs improvements too but it is halting because everyone's still using FA instead. :/ The artists stay because the watchers stay because the artists stay beca....

I enjoyed seeing the update comments though, like there was so much complaining in the official post by the site, and so much arguing, but like I guess the admins just got tired of the comment wars and decided to snowflake the site, oh well, maybe they add a blacklist feature like e621 has someday...

I bet IMVU is forcing the admins to do this. The admins lack any balls anymore so they just bend over and do what IMVU says.

I dunno, I generally don't trust zoo haters because they tend to be extremists and one even got banned from FA after going all fucktard and harassing people for uploading feral dragons with anthros and whatnot claiming thats zoo too. Anti-zoo people can be buttfuck stupid sometimes and will call everything zoophilia. I haven't watched the video, its half an hour long and my internet is dialup speed ever since Corona hit and shut everything down. If there's a screenshot version that can show stuff, that'd be better however I doubt I'd believe half of it and I'd probably find inconsistencies in it.

Hell there was this one time, that person who's banned now called me a dog fucker, because I put a shout on her page saying that her recent journals were nothing but toxic filled hate that made me dislike being around her anymore and she blocked me after I said that. I didn't care that her journals were anti-zoo, I just saw so much hate and toxicity in them and her directly insulting everyone she doesn't like. I didn't say anything about it being ok to do what they do, just that she was being extremely toxic and she went out and called me a dog fucker for it. I bet she even went around telling people that too to make others hate me just because I didn't like her toxicity. So you can see how I know some people are just bullshitters and will make things up.

I do also know that FA harbors a certain person who's done bad things and I'm not allowed to say who and what he does but its likely well known at this point. The FA staff aren't exactly known for being unbiased and honest but they aren't -all- bad. I just hate them sometimes because they do stupid shit like this banning of all flags that offend someone or words even. I bet you can't even call someone a trap in artwork anymore because god forbid it might offend someone.

I just think all the hate needs to end and we need to look at things more logically than emotionally. But anyway. I changed up my journal some to be more appropriate.

I don't like the idea of retroactively banning now infringing images just after a week after change cuz not everyone logs into fa all the time so they may be end banning ppl that have not logged in a time and would not know or even checked in the policy change, sounds dumb.

Also a blanket ban without taking context in mind is counterproductive; ppl may be dissuaded from doing a comic based in a certain era just cause it's banned.

I mean, I sometimes go 2-3 weeks without checking FA. I think some admins are just bored and looking for reasons to issue bans because its fun. Like there was one admin who was going around banning people for stupid shit for fun, and when the head admins found out, they noticed people were getting upset so they named him a rogue admin and removed him. But really it was just that admin doing his job. I feel like I should design a new confederate flag, and name it confurderate flag and upload that to FA and go "Ah but you can't touch me, this isn't against the rules".
