Welp, it’s been almost 2 years waiting for a piece of art. They are a local. Sadly, I was pressured by them saying “I want you to have a good ref :3”
It worked, I paid $200 for a ref. 1 year goes by and nothing. A friend made a ref sheet for me FREE. I updated the artist whom I kept on checking in on. Each time excuse and excuse. I get it; life happens but how many times can you make the same excuse???
We settled for a different piece since I no longer needed a ref. I checked in 1 month intervals. Well, still no WIP, no progress or anything. I can’t do a PayPal chargeback nor go to my credit card bc it doesn’t go that far. I don’t know what to do....

Because it is in a public place the artist might feel more inclined to give you your money back or some other form of compensation!
