- Ssss.
- Envy.
- The Country Bears.
- Communion (1989). Phillipe Mora is an insanely unique director, and also...Christopher Walken and the aliens, when the aliens are the second weirdest thing in your movie you know you're in for a good time.
- Chud II: Bud The Chud. Ah, the Chuds...one of my favorite monster species to do transformations into. I am glad that this one has a cult following, yes...it technically is almost a zombie movie but it isn't, it was originally intended to be a Return Of The Living Dead sequel which I could have seen happening but things changed and it became what it is known. Bud kind of reminds me of The Hessian from Sleepy Hollow because of the sharp teeth and pale complexion in fact I portrayed my Hessian/Walken related transformations similar to the Chuds in this movie (although with the Walken/Hessian ones the males becoming like Chris Walken as the Hessian or basically a vampiric version of Walken and they talk in his voice while also having traits like Hessian's teeth and eyes and they crave blood).
- Lifeforce.
- Rockula (1990). I may have been harsh on Rockula a couple of times but I have to admit it is a fun film, it has a socially awkward vampire who has a talking reflection (yes, this one has a reflection), and Toni Basil (the singer who sings Hey Mickey) is the vampire's mother.
- Corbin Nash. Actually this movie is pretty bad-ass. Malcolm McDowell is great in it and it's always a treat to see Corey Feldman in evil mode (he has a tendency to get turned evil sometimes or to play bad dudes when he's in these type of movies, also love Queenie's backstory).
- My Demon Lover.
- My Best Friend Is A Vampire.
- Black Sheep (2006).
- The Howling sequels in particular Howling 2, 3, 4, and 6. 5 to me is basically just a murder mystery with werewolves and the werewolves don't show up that often, I definitely think two and three are the best because Phillipe Mora just happens to be really good at doing really bizarre movies (see also Communion), and I do like 4 because it's a retelling of the book the original movie is based on.
- Monster Dog. If you want to see Alice Cooper turn into a werewolf, this is the movie for you.
- Rock A Doodle.
- Ragin Cajun Redneck Gators. Love this movie and the monsters in particular, basically these mutant alligators that if one of them attacks and bites someone they become a mutant alligator too or in some cases a mutant alligator-person and the transformations are actually pretty good for modern effects.
- Van Helsing (2004).
- Drop Dead Fred (1991). I've heard people say this movie is mean-spirited, but I enjoy it...it's basically kind of like Beetlejuice (in the same vein as Little Monsters and similar movies) but with an imaginary friend who is played by Rik Mayall, there were talks of a remake starring Russell Brand ages ago but those never came to fruition.
- Killer Klowns From Outer Space (1988). This movie is fun, and a must watch.
- Rock N Roll High School Forever (1991). Oh Corey Feldman, you never fail to entertain me.
- The Cable Guy. Have I said how much I ADORE Jim Carrey yet? If I haven't, you probably haven't been paying attention. While I was harsh on the character of Chip Douglas I eventually warmed up to him, he's oddly sympathetic for a stalker and you can really see where he is coming from.
- The Fly II. Not as good as the original movie as in the 1986 Fly but it's still enjoyable, also Brundle's son is named Martin or 'Marty' and he's played by Eric Stoltz...I see what you did there.
- Teen Wolf Too. The teenage monster genre is my favorite sub-genre of horror comedy, because in the cases of lighthearted ones like Teen Wolf, it's basically about coming out of your shell and it's very relatable. While it's not as memorable as the first, Teen Wolf Too is extremely fun and enjoyable and of course this and the original movie along with Big Wolf On Campus and Buffy the Vampire Slayer helped me get into monsters and in particular werecreatures (thank you American Werewolf In London). Also Hilarious In Hindsight that Todd (Scott's cousin) is played by Jason Bateman and is a werewolf especially when you consider he voiced the character of Nick Wilde who is a fox (another species of canine).
- Transylvania 6-5000.
- Oscar (1991). I love Sly Stallone, he's one of my heroes. He's really good as a comedic lead in this and the cast in general is wonderful, and mmmmm...lovely Marisa Tomei (it's always good to see her prior to becoming Aunt May).
- Judge Dread (1995).
- Nothing But Trouble (1991). Over the past few months and over the past year I have noticed just similar I am to Dan Aykroyd (although my past self would protest and say he is a Belushi type, he would totally do that) and that's a good thing because chances are if we ever met each-other it would be like looking in a mirror. Granted I am not a police officer and I don't have webbed toes, a cleft/dimple in the middle of my nose or heterochromia (those are his traits and of course he is a police officer) but he is my twin in everyway, I even have insane dreams like he has..ones about getting supernatural powers (e.g being able to talk to animals and Pokemon, elemental magic, spells in general), transformations into characters and celebrities including into Aykroyd himself and several of his characters with various odd-ball plots (e.g an Aykroyd army that is basically the most Adorkable invasion/apocalypse type scenario ever with my character wanting to be Aykroydian like them, supernaturally enhanced DVDs/Blu-rays, Aykroyd is a ghost I can speak to and he possesses me, not just him that does it either...it's also Mick Jagger and David Bowie that also possess me in order to turn me into them) and cursed locations just to name a few. I am even obsessed with the paranormal, we have so much in common it's scary. This movie gets a lot of hate but I never got why it's hated so much. It's odd, it's fascinating and it's pretty much the kind of thing I would dream of knowing how weird my own dreams are (i'm keeping Werebelushi In Shades as he is though, although Were-Aykroyd In Shades is his AU counterpart. Besides, Were-Aykroyd in The Shades just wouldn't sound as cool as Were-Belushi In The Shades).
- Full Moon Features...just about any thing from them. I'm particularly fond of Gingerdead Man, Subspecies, the Puppetmaster and Demonic Toys franchises and Evil Bong.
- Terrorvision.
- Fright Night II.
- The Return Of The Living Dead franchise.
- Queen Of The Damned.
- Bordello Of Blood (1996). It's not perfect but it's one of the most entertaining vampire movies ever...and also hello Corey Feldman, we meet again. Also it's interesting seeing Chris Sarandon as a 'slayer' and not as the vampire, interesting role reversal for him.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992). While I do think the tv show based on this movie is way better, the movie still has some adorable charm to it and of course Paul Reubens is hilarious in this as Amilyn (that death scene cracks me up).
- Dagon (2001)
- Freejack (1992). Sir Mick Jagger...nuff said.
- Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge and Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmares. Dream Child would be my second choice next to those two. Freddy's Revenge gets a lot of hate and is viewed as the 'gay' Elm Street movie because of the character Jesse who is played by Mark Patton (Mark's actually gay in real life btw). Freddy possessing someone is definitely something that I really wish could be explored in the Elm Street universe in general.
- The other sequels in the Friday the 13th franchise. I love all of the Friday the 13th sequels really, but the Tommy Jarvis saga ones are my definitive favorites and of course I think Jason Goes To Hell is pretty awesome and I like the idea of Jason possessing people and making them be the new 'Jason'.
- Troma, just about anything Troma. Of course i'm a big Toxie fanatic but I love Tromeo and Juliet too.
- Pet Sematary 2. Clancy Brown is amazing in this, especially when he gets turned undead.
- Nightmare Sisters.
- From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money and From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter.
- What's Up Hideous Sun Demon. A Were-lizard type transformation that is caused by the sun? Now that is different than most types of transformations you see of this kind.
- Night Of The Demons 2 and 3.
- Vampire In Brooklyn (1995).
- Dracula: Dead And Loving It (1995).
- The Island Of Doctor Moreau (1996)
- Puppetmaster VS Demonic Toys. It's not made by Full Moon hence why the puppets look different and aren't the same as the ones in the franchise and according to Charles Band it isn't canon, but I still enjoy it...plus, Corey Feldman...that man always gives it his all in these kinds of movies.
- Lair Of The White Worm (1988).
- Anything Asylum but if I had to pick one....Zoombies. Unique idea of having the zombie infestation be animal related and not affecting humans, and also the killer koala scene.
- The Leprechaun franchise. This franchise isn't afraid to get creative with the kills, especially from the second and third movies onwards...I mean in the 3rd movie alone you have a woman turn into a robot among others including a woman's breasts, butt and lips expanding to ridiculous proportions before exploding (gee...a lot of characters end up expanding/exploding don't they? There's Kananga, Greta in Nightmare On Elm Street 5: Dream Child, there's this woman, there's Mr Creosote and of course there's ol Thunder from Big Trouble In Little China and of course the victims of Kitanna's deadly kiss).
- Terror Toons franchise. Despite the misleading titles, these movies are just plain fun and absolutely bonkers.
- Sleepwalkers (1992). I love the titular monster since they have werecreature traits specifically werecat traits but also they are vampiric but they're not blood-drinking vamps they are energy vampires who prey on virginal females, that's an interesting way of doing it, and woah...incestuous too just like Irena's species in the 1982 Cat People movie.
- Loose Cannons (1990). Aykroyd considers this one of his worst...I just respond with...'really? I'm pretty out of the ones he regrets doing...this, Exit To Eden and Blues Brothers 2000 that BB2K and Eden are arguably the worst ones', this movie is fun, really enjoyable and of course Aykroyd getting to show off his mimicry skills is a joy to watch.
