Something Legitimately Hilarious To Me About Sonic

After all these years of completely shitting on the "Adventure" or so
called "Dark" era of the franchise, all of a sudden now that the franchise
is at its worst, lowest point possible after the company listened to
the loud minorities who bitched about stories and characters and
turned it into whatever the hell Colors and Lost World were supposed
to be...
Here we are, with everyone screaming how it's time to go back to
the "Adventure" era, and you have all these people on YouTube going
back now and saying how great the whole "Adventure" or "Dark"
era was, some even making videos about how Shadow was never
truly "Dark" or "Edgy" and the like...
All these content creators are making new covers and remixes of
Adventure music and such...
To anyone who's followed this franchise, go to any Sonic forum
and you'll see these draconian rules about not talking about a
Sonic Adventure 3, about how you can't talk about this and that
related to or about Adventure games...
And it's pretty much an open secret that most Sonic forums exist
to shit on Adventure titles and concepts whenever possible, and
they do all they can to trash and get rid of people who support that
era of the franchise.
And now, here we are...
The "era" that was the worst, the "era" that ruined the Sonic franchise,
turns out to be what's needed to save its ass? You mean all these shitty
forums and these loud mouthed minorities were wrong from the very
beginning?
You mean the whole "It's about the game play!" and "Sonic's shitty friends!"
and "It's for kids!" schticks turned out to make the franchise so damn bad,
so full of nothing but memes that it was a bigger detriment than anything
to listen to and give credibility toward?
Gee... Who'd have thought. Listen to retards with mouths three sizes too
big telling you to dumb everything down, and it kills your franchise.

What I consistently find funny is that Sonic's games never have been as good as the rest of the franchise. Comics, cartoons, films...if Sonic is about the characters, that's fine. But, that honestly makes for a shitty gameplay experience 9 times out of 10, if you're not making an RPG or something along those lines.
