Well due to the ongoing COVID19 crisis, Anthrocon 2020 has been canceled. I am bummed since its been two years since the last time I've been to a fur con. So it looks like another year. However it is understandable given how dire the global COVID19 pandemic is right now. There seems to be no end to this in sight right now. So its best to play it safe than dying from the virus. I have requested a refund for the con itself and also for my hotel room.

Since Anthrocon 2020 was a main event for my overall trip out east and given that New Jersey is not safe either, doing the beach and boardwalks of Wildwood may not be happening either. So thanks to COVID19 it looks like my vacation is pretty much dead before it arrived.

Be that the case I will continue to save as much money as I can. Maybe by the time the world gets better and traveling is safe again, I can put what I have saved to good use in converting a cargo trailer into a nice travel trailer or maybe go big and build a schoolie and travel the country for months on end. The big things I need to do is work on getting a telecomute job to detach myself from the 9 to 5 grind and be able to work from anywhere. Also if I go for the skoolie option I would need to find a place to do the conversion since I don't have the room on my premises to park a 40 foot long school bus..

In the meantime folks, please hang in there. We will get through this. We will have better times again.
