What things should absolutely be on a Species info

And after discussion with a friend i'm going to be able to make them for much much cheaper and allow people to go crazy with designs
i'll be able to offer Baby/chibi forms that people can draw up into adults and change to their likings within the species boundaries [which atm is really just the hood shapes? That way they don't get confused with other snakes]
maybe get some guest designers so you can get cool adult forms from more than just me
Basis would be;
Buy Chibi form - You can use *any color* in that entire chibi to design your adult. If you like the color of the smoke more than say a... brown on the chibi? You can make your snake into a bright rave party!
You can remove colors from adult forms, but not add them [atm at least, that will change in the future]
But for info like, what NEEDS to be there?
Also my Boyfrien bought me edibles and the desire to draw IS BACK BABY!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED TO START WORKIN ON OWED ART LIKE OH MAN!!!! I'm so sorry the wait has been long but i should be able to start cruisin!!!!
The wisp vipers are just 'in my own personal time' work NOT taking up owed art time.
I do have some adult designs that have been sitting in my folder for a while but i'm doin detail info on them before posting
chompii mentioned 'amount of magic/smoke'
ie : full hoods (kona) can produce more 'smoke' but take longer to refill
and multi-point (Noodle) produces less, but recharge faster
that their magic capibiltiy is not bound by their hoods, but by their heart and experience
i.e despite Noodle being both small and multi-pointed becasue of her heart and experience she can cast adept healing magic with smoke remaining
while Full hood Kona even using all her smoke, b/c of lack of those elements (self-centered/egotistical i.e hearts not in it nor study) she could only heal a papercut at best

If the species is allowed to be used in NSFW art, reproductive system information beyond simply describing the bits, such as cycles and what have you.
Aging and developmental process.
Ideal environmental conditions and conditions non-ideal or hostile to life.
Physical capabilities and defense or offense mechanisms.
Visual elements, including what differs and what is the same.
If the species is closed or open, and a link to information about buying rights to create it if it is semi-open, has a premium variant, or is a closed species.
Preferences about content that can be created with said species, and forbidden content.
A link to detailed biology if you want to be super detailed, including a breakdown of the bodies various systems.
Probably more that I am forgetting.
The more vague you are the more freedom is left up to audience interpretation in creating their own characters with the species if allowed. The less vague the less is left up to the imagination, which reduces some of the risk of knockoffs. It also prevents overlap and potential false accusation of knockoffs by fans when you are specific.
I lean more towards being open about what should and should not be allowed in audience interpretation, but I would have very specific limitations such as no cub art being allowed, no art depicting characters as non-sentient ferals lacking anthropomorphic traits and intelligence, or if the species is meant as a non-intelligent then a ban on nsfw art unless the character in question is an anthropomorphised version (IE a non feral version using the species); and you should specify if you want such allowed.
and hmmm yeah the ideal environment stuff is something i hadn't considered

And i'm not very good with biology info, i'd probably need to have a friend help me with that
