Life's crazy, but I survived
Hey guys- I'm (sort of) back ;)
Life has been dealing me some fairly substantial blows lately, but tentatively, I think things may be looking up again. One of the biggest points of grief was my sweet old dog getting diagnosed with cancer and having to subsequently put her down not long ago. She was a truly huge part of my life, and has been my reason for living many times. It was devastating losing her, but I'm doing alright now. In fact I owe several people on here for their business and generosity in that I was able to give her the meds she needed to live her last months comfortably, so thanks so much to those
Additionally, one of the other outcomes of the train of misfortune is that I've had to move to a different place. This may actually turn out to me a great thing tbh, and I'm cautiously optimistic about it!
So the good news on that front is that I'm moving to a more rural-ish property, which means I can expand my various outside projects a fair bit. The bad side of it is, I'll be in a mobile deadzone, so I won't be able to actually really come back here until I can afford wifi, hopefully in a few weeks to a month. Really though, I'll be so busy getting a garden going and building a proper coop for my chickens (I got fuckin chickens! Life goal XD), that I'll probably not have much to post for a month anyway ;)
I'm also going from a very small house to a gigantic 4 bedroom, so while I now have to have a roommate (a great friend of mine, so that should be good even if I'm more of a hermit), I'll be having a whole ass art room- so I'm definitely looking forward to breaking that in ;)
(Really hope my friend isn't too big a snoop... XD)
Anyways- UrsusArctos , Thylus , Doberman_Guard , and Kojote_Latrans thanks so much for your comments and well wishes on my last journal. I honestly appreciate that a lot.
See y'all around soon ;)

I hope the new house is good to you! You reach out to us if you need anything!
New place is definitely good- hope the art will be coming along soon too ;)
The new place sounds awesome! I'm hoping to be living somewhere more rural in the future too, though if everything pans out, internet won't be an issue here. (supposedly running fiber in this area, even with it being in the sticks xD)
Good luck finding your own rural place someday, its honestly pretty great- especially with internet access ;)
Hope the new living arrangements will treat you well, sounds like a big improvement :D
Definitely like the slower rural pace, and i agree- I'm still pretty close to town, and
not too terribly far from a couple of cities if I need anything there too. That balance of distances does makes things easier ;)
