Me and Covid-19
So far, Covid-19 has been a nightmare for me personally. My brother got sick when on a skiing trip to Italy in February. He has, so far, spent seven weeks in an ICU at the Karolinska hospital in Stockholm. He was flown there when his kidneys and his heart started to fail. Of those weeks, four of them has been been spent coupled to an ECMO. Both his lungs have collapsed, the second just a few days ago. Emergency surgery saved him, again.
He's probably among those who have been most sick in Sweden, and survived.
I'm probably coming down with it now. I've got an intense headache that won't just go away. But I've just had a few coughing fits and just a few goes at fever.
I'm afraid.

Go get tested, rest as much as you can, and keep a good eye on symptoms.

Alas, in Sweden you don't get tested if you're not really ill. It's used as a way of protecting hospital personel when people have to be hospitalised.
