I think it's a good idea, hard to know how many will take up the challenge. I put up the line drawings of the Sorrell Guppy for others to use to come up with a paint scheme. I have no idea if any one has tried it.

Yeah, I thought on making it more for the fun of giving the option rather than expecting something to happen from it, we'll see. And now that you mentioned, gosh, I need to download the plane drawings, I forgot about it ^^;

Sounds good, I think it would be cool to mix some linearts with your abstract paintings. I researched a bit about the technique you use, while the results are amazing I bet it can be quite a messy process :P

I have seen other artists use poured pieces as backdrops to paint other things over them, or have something stenciled over the pour. The process can be a bit messy yes, but if you know what to expect you can prepare for it. My usual workspace is a folding table covered with a trash bag. When the dripped paint dries it just peels right off the surface and is easy to clean up.
I "officially" grant you permission if you would like to try using some of the stuff I've posted in any of your art. It would be an interesting experiment. :)

This is a technique I would like to try in the future, it looks like a lot of fun, sadly for now I don't have the space nor a lot of paint to spare. Most my art tools (acrylics and colored pencils) I got in 2014-15.
