Alright, so some might be wondering why I deactivated my main account, well something kinda unfortunate has happened.
so my mother, who works in song production has put up a new song on her website, and tried to test the purchasing part of it but had issue doing it herself, and thus wanted me to test it out for her, unfortunately it seemed to require the use of paypal, and after complying, later I learn that much to my horror, through examining the purchase history, he has discovered my main account,
she found it on deviantart which fortunately doesn't have much on it. but still. this is kind of a big deal.
okay so the thing is, she is aware of my balloon and is aware that I've drawn inflation work in the past out of desperation, what she doesn't know however is that I'm actually into this stuff, and isn't aware of the more sexual side of things. and I want to keep that side of me private. the topic of sexuality was always awkward with her and this would just make things 10 times worse. and may change how she perceives my interactions with my balloon.
now, she claims indifference on the matter, but what I'm paranoid of is her getting bored one day and deciding to dig deeper into what she can find with my name. needless to say, my old account is no longer private anymore, so I've decided to just abandon it, and sever all connections between it and this account.
Edit: Now I'm NOT leaving FA altogether, I just need to assume a new identity more or less, I'm leaving my old account behind and keeping up with this one for the time being.

I'm an adult and can do my own things, but I don't want to reveal something that will make future interactions with her far more awkward, especially since we still life together in order to cover expenses.
Like I said, she claims she doesn't care and she probably wouldn't care, but I want to heir on the side of caution and keep my more adult stuff as far away from that name as possible.
she knows like, 50% of what I do, only the surface details.
and while the topic just kinda came and went, I don't truly know if she will try to search for anything more regarding that identity.

Like a comment that says "If you like V you should check out his alt account UF" or "You like this picture I commissioned/got as a gift/made for someone? The artist has two accounts V and UF if you want to check out more of his stuff" or worst of all, I just checked google and if you search V one of the related searches at the bottom of the page is UF furaffinity. (I'll check again after clearing browser stuff to see if it normally say that or if it's personal.)
Keep in mind that I didn't tell you this panic you or make you worry, just so that you'll have a plan if she does go looking and finds out.
P.S. Your main account isn't actually deactivated, unless you mean you just stopped using it.
OH MY GOD! I just realized how old this journal is! I'm so sorry if this brought up bad memories or made you worried again or if everything's been taken care of now! I'm used to people posting like one journal every week or day and haven't been to you profile in a long time (and I delete journal notifications without reading them) so I just assumed it was new/recent!
still, I've been thinking about keeping activity on my main low for a while.
also, if you're using google chrome or a google account, I think that kind of stuff is tied to the account itself, regardless, I feel i'm in the clear for now.
