How do you feel about the rookie hero, Dragon?

Is there any villain or monster that you are afraid of? Why do you fear him/her it?

Plenty - oddly enough, I'm not terribly scared of most of the supervillains or monsters. The ones that scare me the most are the guys with guns and enough brain cells to use them properly. I might be the herald of a God of the Empty Spaces, but physically, I'm just a below-average furson. A bullet's going to put me down just as quickly as a normal furson. Plus, I'm not sure if it's something about my Asperger's Syndrome or just being cowardly, but gunfire tends to make me jumpy and throws off my ability to concentrate.

On the more supernatural side of things, though, I'm a bit worried about Apophis. Yeah, I know the deposed Egyptian god is on his way back - I've set up devices to give advanced warning about this kind of stuff. Thing is, I usually face off against cultists, wizards, and wannabe immortals, and facing somebody like The Master Necromancer from Orterra is hard enough. If I do have to go toe to toe with the snake god, I'm honestly worried I'm not going to walk away from the encounter.

What do you think of Bombshell?

Erm...I didn't get to know her particularly well during my time in Chicago. We didn't talk to much, and yeah, she's attractive, but I've got the sex drive of a feral panda in captivity. And after my case of the crazies during the Chicago Incident, I wouldn't be surprised if she gave me a wide berth.

What do you think of Exemplar?

Nope. My performance during the Chicago Incident was all the excuse Atomic Ape needed to foist me off on another base. He explicitly chose Colmaton because, in his words, "they've already got one nutbag spellcaster over there, they'll know how to deal with you."

As for Exemplar, calling him a piece of work would be an understatement. I've got an entire room full of wards and early-warning systems in case he manages to break out of Qward. And even then, I'm not sure if it's going to work.

So, how do you like Colmaton?

Pretty much the only thing I really miss about Chicago is the museums, so...life in Colmaton's been suiting me just fine.

What do least like about being a BOS Operative?

Probably the paperwork.

On second fact, definitely the paperwork. Especially since there's no appropriate form for "preventing the return of some creature so ancient that our language lacks the phonemes for its name". And the fact that most people don't even believe that the main stuff I go after exists.

Are there any type of foods that you dislike?

Plenty! I was a picky eater when I was a kid - probably my Asperger's at work. I've grown out of it a lot, but I'm still a wuss when it comes to spices. Any kind of Mexican food has to be pretty darned mild, or I won't be able to manage more than a couple of bites. And if Mandala manages to talk the kitchen staff into making Indian food - NOPE, all aboard the train to the nearest fast food joint for me!

Do you think your life has gotten better or worse since you picked up the Libris Lacunae?

Most of the time, I honestly wish I'd just thrown the thing in the trash and gotten on with reshelving books. My life was boring, yeah, but I kind of preferred it that way. No overwhelming responsibilities, no rushing - the biggest thing I had to worry about was remembering if I had to wash my bedsheets that week. Now, I'm aware of nothing less than the possibility of the spontaneous collapse of reality, I have to go out to chase down criminals and monsters, and the less said about what I remember of when my mindset swaps with a different version of me, the better. But, I'm stuck with this responsibility. Kll'Daarn says he can't choose another Herald while I'm still alive, and there's no way I'm taking the "easy" way out.

Would you have any reservations about going after Clown King, since he is a fellow Canadian?

What on earth are you talking about? I'm not Canadian, I was born in Ohio!
